I love these suggestions although I’m not sure about the skeggings. Jill Blakeway, however, is someone I can absolutely vouch for. After a long struggle with infertility, I have two children because of her skill and knowledge. Everyone at YinOva is kind and compassionate. It’s like a peaceful little haven in the city. Jill’s new book about how to get pregnant is also something I highly recommend. I’ve bought it for a couple of friends and they’ve loved it. It’s like Jill herself, sensible, straight-forward, warm and practical.
A very satisfied client

Jill Blackway is one of the best fertility specialists we have worked with during our infertility treatments. Her knowledge about fertility is amazing and as a result she knows exactly what each woman needs in order to bring her body back to alignment in order to conceive. It took Jill just over three months of acupuncture and herbs combined with the right food plan, to allow us to experience an amazing IVF cycle that resulted in a pregnancy. We know deep in our hearts that we could not have done this without her and her team. I recommend Jill to every woman who is struggling on the path to parenthood. I recommend her as an acupuncturist and as an amazing individual that is a gift to have walk beside you as you work your process. I know what made the difference for us and the answer lies at the Yinova Center. Go visit them!

I, too, have found Jill Blakeway and the Yinova Center to be compassionate and effective fertility acupuncture. My Western doctors gave me discouraging percentages and talked to my ovaries, but Jill was a genuinely caring practitioner who gave me both hope and a plan of action. Her wise words and gentle treatments helped me have the two sons naturally that my Western doctor was nearly certain would never happen. She truly is a “fertility goddess”.
Jill Blakeway and the YinOva Center are definitely among my favorites. I have been a patient of Jill’s for several years and she is definitely expert at what she does. She has helped me with everything from fatigue to pregnancy – she even helped turn my transverse baby into a perfect vertex position recently! Her office is warm and relaxing, her staff knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended, without reservation.
Alexia and Melisse,
Just wanted to let you know that I think your list of 10 New York City wellness trends to look for in 2010 is terrific! Nice mix between beauty, fitness, food, fashion, and wellness experiences. I especially like your emphasis on the value of individual practioners.
I also think that you both offer the reader something that most other top trend lists don’t – good writing! It was really fun to read. Congratulations and all the best in the New Year!

Just wanted to confirm the amazing facials from Julia March – I have been a client for years and she is unequalled in this business. Best products, equipment, technique, advice… plus Julia is a truly wonderful human being so time in her presence is healing – seriously.

Thanks for recognizing and appreciating the “single-shingle” set. As a sole practitioner myself, I have seen an increase in the number of people seeing me this year, and their reason is a desire for a truly customized treatment with a service-oriented, experienced, holistic, results-oriented practitioner in a more private setting without the major product push.

I’m a little late to the party here, but what about Reiki, especially now that Dr. Oz said, “Try Reiki…It can cure what ails you.”
