I’m a new aspiring yogi taking beginner classes with lots of people who are more experienced than me. The class really does seem like it is for everyone, just a bit slower and more instructive than a faster paced class. I am excited to eventually move up a level, but I will continue to take my beginner classes!
Thanks for a great and inspiring piece on Yoga. I don’t know that I ever got truly beyond the “basics” but I do know I most enjoy classes where form is foremost. As one of the 20% (men in Yoga) I find challenges with hips the Yoginis don’t seem to have but am more open in the shoulders. It’s a wonderful journey and the Kula Project is a challenging, but very satisfying place to visit.

Jillian is an amazing teacher and I always find myself going back to her classes and learning something new each time.
