Dangle your way to buff: A deal on Aerial Silks Conditioning Class
Some of the most seriously fit (and fearless) athletes strolling around NYC are aerialists. Like Heather Hammond, artistic director of Heliummm, whose acrobatics make push-ups look like a piece of cake. Check her out here: http://www.heliummm.com/
The aerial artist and National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer is teaching an Aerial Silks Conditioning Class for beginners. It comes with a serious discount via Lifebooker: $25 (instead of $60) nyc.lifebooker.com

I contacted Heather directly because there were no scheduled classes for the hours I could take silk lessons. She answered back so fast and we found a perfect day with a small group on Wednesday before 12noon – for those of you who are not regular 9 to 5ers. It was AWESOME! I want to have a set up in my home! The class was held at Hype Gym in the city, and we had ample space, good energizing gym music, and learned many ways to hang horizontal, diagonal and upside down. A real workout on the core and upper body. Heather is super attentive to body mechanics, very specific with her instructions, and a great teacher! The class was very well rounded as well, where we warmed up in beginning, played silk and partnered up, ending with self-care massage techniques and stretches. A must do if you are looking for a kicka** hobby :)
