Hee-hee.. make nice with the Bikrams made me giggle. (sorry Bikrams – I will make nice that day) Are you going to have a well and good contingent? I will come and wear a t-shirt if it is cute!

Great idea, Heather. We are working on cute t-shirts (or more likely, tanks) as we speak! We’ll keep you posted on a Well+Good contingent, and see what our friends at Kula, and elsewhere are planning…
I registered on 5/20, thinking that I would get in, but i was just reserving to win a spot… so I think it is some sort of lottery and not first come first served…

Regarding Sandy’s point, yes, the Great Lawn event is set up like a lottery. You have to provide your email (hence my point about this event being one heck of a way to get subscribers for Flavorpill), and they’ll confirm your attendance in June. That said, I expect that Flavorpill intends to honor the request of every single person who signed up. It’s hard to get 10,000 peeps to an event. Even yoga-obsessed ones. And should they surpass that number, I suspect Guinness will happy to record the 12,000 who turn out, etc.
Love this happening and didn’t even need to read your reasons to want to go and after your 6 reasons, really want to go!
A few notes I took during the Dalai Lama said at Radio City Music Hall, “Healthy body, healthy mind is an interesting approach… Remember that real beauty is inner beauty and take more care of that… When thinking of others our mind opens and widens; when just concerned with oneself it narrows… Don’t be demoralized by small things and never give up hope strength and confidence…”
Thank you for organizing this amazing event! Elena is the best!
Now, how can we register?
NYC Kula coming together Opening our hearts to create love in our community……A dream…..come true!
I would love to bring our Kula Heart Yoga community from Nazareth, PA to this wonderful event!
Blessings!
