Gratis on the grass: Bend & Bloom offers free yoga classes in Prospect Park

Free Yoga in Prospect Park with Bend&BloomAdding to the throngs of free yoga Thursdays in New York this summer is Bend & Bloom, a top Brooklyn studio, which shares many of its awesome teachers with Kula Yoga Project.

In addition to the free 7 pm classes on the lawn of Prospect Park, the studio offers free Sunday morning classes—that’s peak yoga-going time! We missed letting you know about first couple classes (whoops), but the rest of the summer’s freebies are mentioned below.

Bring your mat, your sunscreen, and a bottle of water. Classes are held on the Long Meadow by the Grand Army Plaza entrance. No registration necessary, just show up at the park with time to set up before class starts.

Thurs., Aug 5: 7:00-8:00 pm with Angela Arnold
Sun., Aug 15: 10:00-11:00 am with Denise Hopkins
Thurs., Sept 2: 7:00-8:00 pm with Matthew Caton
Sun, Sept 19: 10:00-11:00 am with Aditi Dhruv
