I agree that wearing make up while working out is trouble waiting to happen. I suggest that after your workout, rinse with cool water, pat dry, spritz with colloidal silver to kill bacteria, then put on a light application of a non-clogging mineral powder. If you do get a breakout, a swipe or organic apple cider vinegar will sting but do the trick.

I scurried home from pilates today (the cardio version at Pilates Plus) to wash my face (5 minute drive), and I found that even my gentle stuff was kind of stingy. Perhaps that’s a sign that it’s not gentle enough, and I should phase it out, but in the meantime, any tips? Should I just wash but not put on my usual sunscreen for a bit? Thanks!

I agree with Joanna; the fewer chemicals you put on your skin the better. Most modern facial washes (even baby products) are loaded with toxic chemicals like formaldehyde. Water and vinegar or green clay will do the job nicely.
