Sharon Salzberg and Robert Thurman help you kill your enemies with lovingkindness

We all know the old adage about keeping our enemies close.  And sometimes the enemy is really close (we’re talking to you, you ole self-sabatoger). Here’s a weekend designed to help you drown both kinds of enemies with lovingkindness, compassion, and sympathetic joy.

Led by two of our favorite spiritual teachers–Sharon Salzberg and Robert Thurman–this workshop “will explore inner and outer enemies, look at the fear, anger, and anguish generated by being stuck in a mode of “us” and “them”, and focus on the liberation we are capable of.”

RETREAT: Working with your Enemies:  Finding Freedom from Hostility and Fear

WHEN: September 3 – 6, 2010

WHERE: Menla Mountain Retreat Center, Phoenicia, NY, 845-688-6897, www.menla.org

COST: Tuition is $425 plus accommodations. In other words, about two sessions with a therapist.
