Therme Vals coming to Tribeca. Sort of.

Thanks to the awesomely intrepid reporting at the Tribeca Citizen, we just learned about a project called Ancient Bath that is headed to Leonard Street.

The Tribeca Citizen says that the project is still in the zoning phases, but the Spanish company spearheading the “relaxation spa” showed pictures of Therme Vals (pictured here) as inspiration, my favorite bath in the whole world.

This sounds very promising, indeed.

Apparently there will be five baths (saltwater, hot, cold, etc.) and massage in the mix. For the full story, click here. —Alexia Brue
