This sweet and tart smoothie hits the spot on a hot summer day, and uses fruit that’s low in sugar. Make it your own by adding your favorite protein powder or other supplements.
Summer Crush Smoothie
1 cup fresh organic strawberries
1/2 green apple
1/4 lemon
1/2 almond milk
4 ice cubes
Blend for 2 minutes and enjoy!

Sounds yummy! I personally am all about green smoothies, so my smoothie usually is a variation off of the following:
1 pear/frozen berries/frozen peaches
large handful or two of spinach
1 cup coconut water/unsweetened almond milk
1 tea. bee pollen
vegan protein/whey protein
Any sometimes I will add extras: vanilla extract/ cinnamon/ greens powder/ a leaf or two of kale.
Yum! Thanks for sharing. I’m totally trying this. Is there a particular brand of vegan protein you like, Tara?
