Point taken Minnie! I do eat a mostly plant based diet and inspired by the vegan lifestyle–including my BFF who is a TRUE vegan. I am sure she agrees with your comment!
Loved your post! I’m a raw foods/gluten-free chef who eats “clean” meat, poultry, fish etc. every once in awhile. I try to eat in a wholesome healthful manner, rather than in adherence to any strict dietary paradigm. It’s refreshing to see others who do the same. (I had a good giggle at the whipped cream.) I’m very interested in trying your class. I’ve read up on it, and as a yoga & Pilates instructor, it’s right up my alley. Hopefully I’ll make it in sooner rather than later. Thanks for the peek into your fridge!
As a vegan I applaud a “vegan-ish” approach. If everybody was making these kind of choices our overall health would vastly improve as would the state of our planet. We should support those that are being mindful of their impact and their choices rather than create an all-or-nothing system that would discourage many from making changes.
Sadie, love your comment about what’s hiding in your drawers and cupboards! I made a video for my clients and they all loved seeing the chocolate and wine in my fridge, too. I’ve found dogmatic approaches to diet just don’t work – you have to have a little room to play, too.
Patricia and Julia, I had fun looking at your inspiring blogs! To all here, I am honored to be connected to you as we all work towards living WELL & GOOD! xo
Sadie, thank you for sharing your fridge with us:) And being so real and honest!!! I never thought of spraying whipped cream from the can into my girls’ mouths (when they were much younger…doubt they’d stand for that now: in their early 30′s!), but that sounds like a great idea for the little ons LOL. Yes, those “unhealthy” goodies are not the best for us, but they do add the spice to life:)

O.k., other than your fridge looking a lot like ours, the spray cream cracked me up! Ya know why? It’s also one of my guilty pleasures. I like the sound, and on top of some good yogurt with stevia and berries, it’s like dessert that doesn’t whack me out!
You can’t really describe yourself as “vegan ish” in any way! Dairy, red meat! Not in any way vegan ish

Thank you for being so local, healthy and REAL Sadie! You make great choices and allow for the fun splurges in life that we should all take!
