My favorite green smoothie for St. Patrick’s Day is a green drink that tastes so good, you wouldn’t even think it’s healthy.
Everyone thinks that St Patty’s Day is all about drinking alcohol….and I have to admit that I have a weak spot for my favorite cocktail, mojitos.
That’s why I love this frozen mojito smoothie….it’s green, delicious, and you wouldn’t even think it was healthy from the first sip…but it is!
It’s the best of both worlds. My favorite mojito taste, without all the bad effects of alcohol.
Handful of fresh mint (about ½ cup)
Juice of 1 lime
1 cup spinach
1 banana
¼ cup water (or club soda)
Ice
Dash of honey – optional
