It isn’t enough that Bikram Choudhury wants you to do his exact sequence of poses every single day, he also wants to make sure you take your vitamins. His vitamins.

Bikram Choudhury supplements

Choudhury partnered with Natrol to create a new line of nutritional supplements, available this week, called Vedic Mantra.

Natrol says the products were formulated using Ayurvedic principles and are “designed to meet the needs of a healthy yoga lifestyle.”

While they’re not the first supplements to target yogis, Vedic Mantra will have the benefit of distribution in pretty much all of the Bikram Yoga studios.

What supplements should yogis use? Well, among the ten blends just launched are those that target joint health, sleep, and antioxidant support. (Hot rooms do invite free radical damage!)

Cash-wise it makes sense for Choudhury to sell dietary supplements—it’s a growing industry valued at more than $28 billion in the U.S.

And maybe it’s part of a master plan to turn out even more yoga champions?
