For me tracking fitness data is a key to accountability. Numbers cannot lie. They keep you honest. Also, tracking a lot of numbers can help show progress when some areas stall, ie. the scale.
I like to see how things are changing and why. Also tracking gives a look at the big picture, which is more important than focusing on small details.
In order to meet goals– you need real numbers to show progress. A tracking fitness scale can also help keep me accountable. I used to be an avid runner and I let a sports injury put me on the bench. I am trying to get back in shape and could really use this scale! Thanks for considering me:)
It measures both the weight and the body fat. Then you can even get the data sent to your mobile device. What a great tool! Tracking weight loss is s snap!
I always wear a pedometer and I also love to map my runs. I love to do this to keep an account of my weekly mileage. This scale would be great to add. I’m sure it will make me more honest with my diet…and my love for pasta….
I like tracking the number of miles I run as well as my weight because then I know if I am on track with my goals. It helps boost my self confidence and encourages me to become even stronger.
Tracking incremental progress can be incredibly motivating and reminds me that big changes are made up of small changes and individual decisions.
That one hour workout is made up of 60 little minutes and that pound of fat can be gone with a few of those workouts combined with clean eating.
Accountability and helping to stay focused are the 2 main reasons why I love tracking health and fitness data. (That, and I’m more than a little OCD.) What a cool new gadget!
Though watching my body change and become stronger is my favorite part of getting more fit, numbers quantify my progress. I’d love this scale to assist my ongoing dedication to fitness!
I’m so excited to hear about this product because it’s yet another example of how technology is being used in advantageous ways to promote health and well-being. The great thing about being able to systemically track your health/fitness is that you can actually see the results in full, digital glory. For me, seeing that the hard work and dedication just pushes me further.
Genius! This keeps you accountable and accounts for trends you wouldn’t normally track when you simply step on the scale in the morning. It is one thing to monitor your weight, but this takes it to the next level allowing you to really advance yourself.
i like to see how many steps i actually walk every day
love finding out how many steps i actually walk every day
I use a pedometer to track my activity – I love how it reminds me to always stay active and fit in some extra walking whenever I can.
I am trying to stay on track and make sure I am nourishing my body the best way I can – especially because I am starting to train for my first marathon! Such scale will provide me an opportunity to figure out how much I need to hydrate and replenish before, during and after my workouts.
I find that tracking and keeping a log of my workouts keeps me incredibly motivated. I’m a goal-oriented person so seeing my progress in print is an important part of my regimen. Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway, Well + Good!
I love being able to see how many calories I have been working out and seeing the excess calorie burn is motivating! Being able to track body fat would be a life changer – the number only tells you so much!
I’m way more interested in fat loss than in weight loss. I would love to find out more about my body composition and be able to track it as I get stronger and hopefully leaner.
I love all the technology available for athletes these days! I’m a total techie so I’m always trying out new things and trying to perfect my logging system. I don’t weigh in very often, but when I do I want it to be comprehensive. I like body-fat composition testing because it’s easy to say, “oh, I must have gained muscle, that’s why I didn’t lose weight this week…” It’s a slippery slope!
Tracking meals and exercise makes you accountable for the daily choices you make. The rise of apps with assisting technology, such as barcode scanners for packaged foods make this process much less time consuming. For me, this is a great tool, as it is often easy to lose track while having a busy lifestyle. This is an awesome giveaway!
They say that writing down your goals and keeping track of your progress can be the difference between success or not. I a embarking on a total body change today and this would be a brilliant tool to use.
Tracking your weight and fitness is not just about your body and wellbeing, but actually a very clear tool to create awareness of self. Your body changes when your life changes: when you move to another city, meet new people, fall in love, get a new job. Stressed, happy or depressed. The numbers in the scale actually is telling a story about your life
Concrete numbers can help us set realistic, concrete goals.
Hi There!! Tracking my food consumption helps me identify my problem areas. I can use my tracked data to spot trends in my eating and find my weak moments throughout the day and week…so that I can take action!
I am a numbers girl. Love em’ A good scale keeps me on track for my fitness goals.
I love to track my progress as a tangible affirmation of what I can feel and see. As other readers have indicated, the numbers do not track feeling but fact. It is motivation for me to continue and maintain when I reach my goals. I won’t know I’ve gotten there if I don’t track it in some way, and can’t be sure to maintain if I don’t know what I’m trying to keep.
Tracking health and fitness data helps keep me honest and accountable, it also makes me feel in control, if that makes sense; I’m the one who controls which direction the numbers move.
I love tracking health and fitness data because it keeps me on my wellness path. I can easily catch if I’m going in the opposite direction of my goals and remedy it before it gets too far out of reach.
I love tracking everything fitness-related in order to keep myself accountable. It is motivating to see the progress I have made in order to continue making more progress. Also, as an accountant, I tend to look at everything in terms of numbers, so tools like this give me the perspective I love to see!
Keeping track of my health and fitness data allows me to see how my fitness level has evolved over time, and to see how far I’ve come. Also, numbers are far more reliable markers of progress than asking my boyfriend if my “guns” are looking more toned this month vs. last month!
The scale at my gym is often out of commission/broken, and this would let me track my real weight/fitness, and save the data to review over time (be it with awe at 80, or as a marker of further fitness)
Though I believe that numbers are less important than how you feel, I have always taken great joy out of tracking my activity, whether it be food, fitness, or mental state. It helps me understand my body and mind more fully, and also it’s also a confidence boost when you see yourself getting better at something/getting closer to a goal.
As a wellness coach I’m always keeping records and stepping up my effort with workout’s and diets on a very regular basis. It’s fantastic to have a smart scale to help me do that while it communicates with my phone. I’m always on the go so accurate details of anytime or anywhere is a lot easier to figure out with this doodad. I just love it!

Consistant tracking has helped me to focus on my goal of weight loss. With tracking over the last 6 months ive lost 25lbs and am on my way to that number that ive set for myself.
I love how it motivates me to stick with healthy habits/routines.
I not only get to feel the difference, but I get to see the progress when I track my data.
I enjoy having some information to track my progress
Tracking is key to weightloss success. It gives you a mental picture to track your progress to allow for adjustments, either making an extra push in the fitness or nutrition spectrum; or knowing that you’re on the right track. It’s all about accountability! I would love to have this as I am trying to get back on track after sliding down a very slippery slope. Pick me!
Seeing the numbers on the scale keeps me accountable and motivated to make changes. A scale like this would be an incredible tool to keep me on the right path in my weight loss and healthy living journey.
On line trackers are the new weight loss of today. In this busy world of ours, it can replace that weight loss meeting, that you are too busy to attend. These websites still have the support of community and give good tips. With a scale like this you can get that accurate measurement people are looking for. And with the number use see it in black an white.
OMG, this scale is gorgeous, sleek, and powerful! I am obsessed with health tracking, especially weight and BMI, so this would be soooo perfect for me ;)
I love tracking my health & fitness data because I love seeing my progress! I’m down nearly 80lbs so it’s crazy to see where you were when you started!
tracking my health just keeps me honest. You can so easily just think, oh i did this or that and really it wasn’t much when you look at it…
Love the idea of this scale, that it keeps track of more than just a number that goes up and down, that you can see direct relationship between what you are doing and what you are eating and what is happening to your body and not just weight.
I’m disabled from a neck surgery, and can’t exercise. That leaves me with pretty much meal tracking only for weight loss. I beleive that tracking it all would make me feel more accountable to myself, and think twice before eating something I know I have to write down. I also think that knowing your weight, isn’t enough, you should know your fat % in order to be healthier. Looks like an amazingly helpful tool for better health.
I like tracking the miles I walk. It helps keep me active and motivates me to do more.
I track everything from sleep to spin. I love knowing exactly how many calories I’m burning so I know exactly how many calories I can eat. I love food! I will work out for food :) I have lost 40 pounds over the last 9 months and I did it all by keeping track of what I was burning and consuming. It really is a way of life for me.
Using this awesome scale to track fitness data is a great tool to use to stay motivated and empowered when it comes to heathy living. I love the ease with which the scale operates and the simplicity that the technology would add to my life.
It helps me to stay real.
I get on the scale every morning, but never record my weight to my food diary. This scale will keep me accountable. It also looks great.
My scale lies to me… or maybe it doesn’t ;) It would nice to be held accountable and to be able to track everything. I track my finances with a fine tooth comb but have never tracked my weight (which I should)!
I love tracking health and fitness data because it gives me more control over my health and fitness. It lets me know where I am and gives me valuable information so I can make the best choices in order to reach my goals!!!
Since my 11 year old son and I are adopting a healthier life style, this will be a vital tool in that process.
Thank you,

What I love about tracking fitness and health data is being able to see the numbers drop down on the scale. Nothing is more satisfying to me then seeing my progress in numbers
I love that everything is instantly sent to my computer! Nothing for me to do! Easy to track & honestly makes losing weight fun!
I use the scale once per week to check my weight, and to see how my weight lose regiment is working. I try not to check daily, because some days are good and some not so.
I started juicing in March and have lost 24 lbs so far. When I weigh myself, it keeps me accountable to my commitment to becoming healthy. My goal this year is not only to lose the weight, but to be the healthiest I can be.
Tracking fitness data is the key to success.
Wow technology is changing so fast. This scale is an awesome way to keep track of weight loss and so convenient. Would love to win one of these and motivate myself to lose weight.
would be great to store data, and see my progress on a daily basis
would love to see my progress everyday!

Quite simply, it’s the only way I’ve ever lost weight. I need to track my progress to figure out what is working and keep me motivated. When it comes to my health, if I’m not proactive, I’m not going to succeed.
Keeping track of weight and measurements, and also what you eat are all key to fitness. If you don’t get on that scale and actually see the number you get a little lazy sometimes.
It makes it real….numbers don’t lie….even though we may want them too!
It helps me to keep myself on track and motivate me to continue!
For me, tracking my weight is crucial for me to see how I am doing and how far I have come. If my weight is up, I am encouraged to eat better. if my weight is down, I am encouraged to maintain the trend and eat better.
A REALLY GOOD SCALE WOULD HELP ME TRACK MY PROGRESS IN TRYING TO LOSE THOSE 10LBS.
Wow, this scale is amazing! Having this would definitely add accountability to my weight loss plan. It would be like having a close friend tell you what is really working and what is not. No cheating allowed.
I like that it makes me aware of my numbers. When I’m aware of my numbers I have more will-power and can keep myself accountable.
I love the accountablity factor that this scale brings. Similar to a close friend that will not lie to you as far as your weight loss is concerned. No cheating allowed if this scale is on your team.
Tracking health and fitness data keeps me accountable and motivated/
I keep track because it helps me meet my goals to know where I stand. If I am doing it right or not. It helps! :)

This would make it a no-brainer to track data that is essential to lose and maintain weight
I have to track and if I don’t I get thrown off and go into a depression state and it makes all the hard work not worth it. This scale would be awesome to own!
I think this would be a great scale to help me be accountable as I try to improve my health in every way!

I think tracking fitness data is a wonderful way to see progress and helps one make changes to his/her routine to improve and continue towards fitness goals. Also, the scale doesn’t lie …. and helps one to be honest about how well he/she is taking care of their body.
I like knowing that the word I’m doing is paying off. It helps to see results. Tracking health and fitness is the best way to see those results and keep you motivated!
I track, because it lets me know everything – I have a Fitbit – calories, steps, distances, stairs, so on and so forth, so I know how active I am toward my fitness goal!
Llets me know if I’m on track
Keeps me on track
I find tracking my weight loss and fitness really helpful. I like to set goals for myself and watch my progress. This is by far the coolest scale I have ever seen!
I like that it gives you a way to measure the total fat loss.
I have never been as excited as I am now about tracking my health. Six weeks ago I had Gastric Bypass surgery and feel great. I have already elminated Diabetes and a few pants/shirt sizes! Thanks
I like that it gives you accountabilty and tracks your steps durning the day
cause im embrassed to do it at the gym in front of other
Tracking health and fitness data through technology is an awesome idea. Correcting bad behavior in weight loss is hard, why not simplify it using technology. I’m a diabetic and it’s a must for those like me to keep track of our weight. I routinely go to doctor visits to keep track but having this particular scale is having real-life feedback anytime, keeping you on target and alerting you on problems. This is great to have in between doctor visit. AWESOME IDEA!!!!
Personally I like to see numbers, they help keep me organized. I like to keep track of my data.
I wish more scales told you body fat, my girls are built like me and most charts put our BMI much higher than we are, I was just talking with my daughter about finding a scale that measures body fat, so I like the sound of this one!
I love seeing my progress over time in a graph!
this would be great for me. After having 2 kids and being heavier than I usually am this could motivate me more to get my body fat down. My weight is normal for my height but my BMI is higher than normal so this could help me track that.
I am now 45 and really needing to get heart smart…meaning loose weight and get in shape! This would be such an incentive and get me on track to begin a long needed journey.
i keep a log of my family’s weight we were all overweight and my daughter was at risk of diabetes it was a real eye opener and something we never want to go back to.
it keeps me on track.
Wow! This is great! I’d love to be able to track body fat since weight can fluctuate with muscle and water weight. Body fat would tell me that my workouts and healthy eating really are making a difference! Plus, seeing the difference over time is a great motivator so I can actually see my past habits.
I think this is perfect, my husband and myself are trying are hardest to beat the fat. We have tried every diet out there, so I think what this has to offer us would make fighting the fat a lot easier givin the right tools.
I like to keep track because it keeps me accountable and keeps me motivated when I see the numbers I like.
I love being able to track my progress in multiple ways. Over the past year I’ve stayed the same weight but my pants have gotten much tighter, so obviously I’m gaining some fat and losing some muscle, so this would be nice to have some other figures to look at.
i think this is a great idea keeps you more organized, many people work on computers now a days and you can keep it all logged. great idea! easier to help you loose weight
I love tracking my daily movements through GPS with Nike+ on my iPhone!
It’s nice that tech is making things easier to chart…no longer needing to write down weights in a spreadsheet and the graphs are automatically generated!!
I hope I will win this…I’ve been longing for one for a long time!!
Thanks for the contest.
I love to see my progress. Progress keeps me motivated. I like to knowing if what I am doing is working or not.
I love tracking because it motivates me and at the same time keeps me honest. The idea of being able to see my progress on a regular basis is very appealing. I especially like that I can get it on my phone since I use it so frequently and it’s so convenient. The scale I own now does not measure body fat so that is a great feature. I’ve have been trying to stay on track with diet and fitness, and I think this scale may be just the thing I need!
I weigh myself everyday, mentally checking whether I weigh more or less than the day before. But I never record my weight. This would be a great way to track my weight to see the general trend.
Although it’s cliche in business, it applies to personal health as well…what gets measured gets done.
I would love to have this scale! I used the Body Bugg system to lose my post baby weight. I loved tracking my goals each day and completing them! It was the best feeling to see how many steps and calories burned daily at every plug in! I lost 30 pounds and I now love working out and running!
Nothing keeps me more motivated then tracking my exercise and food intake.
I love tracking my weight because then when I become discouraged I can look back at how far I’ve come and be proud of myself. My problem has always been feeling bad about myself and giving up. By tracking, I can see how good I’ve done and be proud!
