Summer time is party time in the Hamptons—and that extends to fitness, too.
Chaise23, the hot new workout that pairs a modernized version of the Pilates Wunda chair with overhead resistance bands, just opened a stunning, light-filled East Hampton location for the summer. And you can win a party here for you and up to 15 friends!
At the Hampton’s newest fitness studio, you’ll be treated to a one-hour class with Chaise23 creator and fitness guru, Lauren Piskin. Her Reinvention Method brings Pilates into the world of heart-pumping, music-blasting boutique fitness—perfect for a party.

Chaise23 in East Hampton: Stop by for such signature classes as Reinvention Chair, Cardio Chair, and Chair Challenge.
Afterward, you and your guests will nibble on catered snacks and fresh-pressed juices before heading off to the beach. Piskin promises her workout will leave you with a dancer’s body. (If her own is any evidence, you can trust her!)
How psyched will your friends be to get this invite from you?

I have such a crazy schedule so working out with friends allows me to stay connect with my friends while doing something productive like trying to stay fit. Plus, it’s great motivation on those sluggish days when working can seem like such a huge task :-)
Working out with friends allows you all to stay together and socialize in a non-bar driven atmosphere. Plus working out together, you get the extra energy of being there with people you love.
The friends that I run with usually have the same goal as I do – we’re all training for NYCM in November! Having friends there to get you through the long runs is so much better than doing a 22 miler by oneself (which I have done before when someone bailed on me previously!!!) It is a great way to motivate each other and also helps the time fly by.
working out with friends creates a great bonding experience. I love the collective energy of working through the challenge together. We work out harder and become lighter at the same time.
The laughter makes even the hardest workout feel pain free. And the endorphins makes it more fun than the wildest night out.
Working out with friends motivates and inspires me. I learn new techniques and routines. We push each other to work harder and be the best that we can be!
I love working out with friends because it keeps me motivated, strong, and in a great mood. My pilates trainer is a good friend – she is supportive but also challenges me with tough, toning workouts. Also, my ballroom dancing partner is my best friend – he and I compete together and confide in each other. He and I have a great chemistry on the dance floor, which helps us to score well and improve our dance skills.
Love working out with friends because they can be a great support system!
Working out with friends, especially going on a long run, gives us a chance to catch up and chat while reaping the fitness benefits. As much as I love sitting around sipping wine and nibbling cheese (who doesn’t?!) I feel revitalized both in my body and soul after what we call our “venting runs” – we are able to motivate and inspire each other to run longer, especially if there’s some particularly interesting gossip to catch up on :)
Working out with friends provides a sense of community and play that we often lack in our adult lives! As our endorphins raise and we laugh together the glow gets brighter for ALL. I believe “as you get stronger I get stronger and as I get stronger you get stronger”. LOVE working out with my peeps!!!!
There is nothing like waking up on a Sunday morning and hitting the trail for a run with great friends! After a long week of working, running around with the kids and just do the day to day tasks we have a lot of catching up to do! Need I say more? :o) This would give us all something to look forward too after we complete our first triathlon end of July. Hamptons here we come!
I love working out with my friends for so many different reasons. Among the most important are the bonding you get when you push yourself to the limit with someone else, the motivation you receive from having people around you that care, and the shared elation and accomplishment you feel leaving together.
I don’t get enough opportunities to work out with friends as they are busier than I. When I taught belly dance classes, some of the students became my friends so that was a great bonding experience, but those days are gone now.
I am a single mom of two little girls. I am trying to get the baby weight off. It helps so much having the company and support from friends when working out. It is much more motivating with friends. It helps keep me accountable and faithful to this weightloss journey.
I always feel more motivated when working out with friends. And it feels less like work and more like play!
To me, friendship equals strength. Being a collegiate athlete, I knew my best friends as my teammates. They were there to encourage, support, uplift, and provide me stre
I love working out with my friends because it definitely motivates me. I am 5 to 10 years older than my friends. Its a challenge for me to keep up with them&it keeps mein shape and on top of game at 43!
I love working out with friends because it pushes me to do more and work harder! Plus the time flies by on a run when we are chatting about stuff.
Friends keep me motivated to push myself even harder. It also gives us a chance to catch up after a great workout, and show each other our battle wounds!
I love working out with friends because not only is it a great motivator to drag my butt to a particularly intense bootcamp class, it also brings us closer together. After hearing/seeing each other grunt and sweat and struggle, we’re still friends!
As time goes on, it only gets harder for friends to stay in constant up-to-date touch on our everyday lives. Being able to gather together for healthy reasons to get stretching and healthier together is a great opportunity to keep connected knowing someone else you know is also going through the same routine as you, as a pair/trio!
I love working out with friends because not only is it a great motivator, it brings us closer together. After sweating, grunting and struggling through bootcamp classes, mud runs, or long runs, the bonds of our friendship are strengthened!
I love working out with friends because it is allows us to get together and do something beneficial to our health and well-being.
Wow, working out with friends is fantastic because we motivate each other and share the workout! Also, it is great to continue the time together after with a juice r meal.
I love working out because it’s the one thing I do that really helps me learn discipline and hard work. I ran my first marathon this year and it was 90 degrees, and I wanted to drop out, but I realized that you can’t just give up when an obstacle comes in your way :)
I didn’t realize how much working out means to me until I discovered that on days that I DON’T work out, I can get in a really pissy mood! Working out with friends, whether it’s taking a quick walk, doing Aqua Zumba, Power Hour, Pilates, or sessions in the gym – is always better with them!!! Exercise keeps you younger, but mix in laughter with friends and I have found the key to a healthy lifestyle!
Working out with friends is a great way to get your sweat on and spend invaluable time with friends. A friend helps motivate you and helps you to achieve your goals. They also provide laughter and good conversation (if not in a class) which helps you push on.
I used to think there was nothing better then a Sunday brunch with friends to catch up, but there truly is nothing enter then working out with friends you get quality time burning instead of gaining calories!!!
Working out is a symptom of change for me.True Change. When you decide. Really decide to quit the habits that are literally killing you change looks like something.So. I cute my hair a year ago. All the way off. As a young black woman with natural hair it gets tough to maintain with hardcore sweating. And hair was goin to trip me up if I was goin to quit a lifestyle that was killing me.I bought work out clothes. I chose a discipline that would keep me within budget, mold me and challenge me.Vinyasa yoga.4 times a week. When the challenge to learn headstand came I chose the mat instead of learning on the wall like-sayyy 90% of the rest of the class. I was doing headstands in my dreams!!! I became proud of myself. To have a title. To truly say I have given my time to this. o say I am a yogi. I am a skater. I am a dancer. My life has changed.
I am much more likely to stick to my workout schedule if I have friends with me! I run with a great friend once a week, and could go for miles running and chatting in Central Park. Working out with friends gives us a chance to catch up on life, and also talk about running injuries/exercise plans/new workouts and nutrition. It’s all around healthy!
