Since Athleta opened two Uptown stores last summer, we’ve been waiting to meet a new yoga top there we could love. Alas, the collection of busy prints left us bewildered. But, the Equator Tank, a “Summer MVP,” had us at our first sun salutation.

It’s a simple, rounded V-neck in the front, with a pretty strap configuration in the back for just a hint of flair. And it comes in a rainbow of pretty shades.

The built-in bra (with removable cups) is one of the most comfortable we’ve ever encountered, and it provides the perfect amount of shaping for the less well-endowed. (It’s probably not enough support for bigger cup sizes.)

And we love the way the tank falls, flatteringly, a tad away from your belly and hips, giving your skin room to breathe on hot summer days, and preventing the stuffed-in-like-a-sausage look.

A downside: Because the tank has been so popular, it’s not currently available in all colors and sizes. But you may still be able to snag one.
