Lululemon’s newest store may open up in the neighborhood better known as home to a bumping club scene, luxe retail shops, and, at one time, Samantha Jones.

According to The Real Deal, the butt-shaping yoga pant pioneer is eyeing Yigal Azrouel’s former 4,000-square-foot space on 14th Street between Ninth Avenue and Washington Street.

We’re seeing a pattern here: Outdoor sports outfitter Patagonia has already signed a lease for a space next door, and Icebreaker, which hosts a weekly run club in collaboration with the Sports Center at Chelsea Piers, is just around the corner. Not to mention the High Line, which offers outdoor fitness and dance classes in addition to green space.

It’s looking like this liquor-saturated neighborhood may just be headed for a healthy makeover.
