Fashion Week runway nails you can do at home

1 / 6
Kate Spade Fashion Week nails

Fashion Week has lured us in (looking for leggings, of course). But one thing that has really stood out: Fabulous nail polishes of the less-toxic variety.

This year, several of our favorite natural-leaning brands have been out in full force. Wait till you see the daring colors, adorable patterns, and metallic shimmers we've spied.

Here are four Fashion Week-inspired looks you can reproduce at home. (No, we're not waiting till spring.)

Priti Flame of the ForestPriti NYC at Ohne Titel

At Ohne Titel’s show, the collection was based on Karl Wirsum's playful drawings from the 1960s. Priti NYC cemented the vibe with bright, whimsical colors—like the new Flame of the Forest, above—which were matched perfectly to the models' makeup. Who doesn't love a fun orange hue for fall?

Kate Spade went and got all gingham this season, and so did her models’ nails. Deborah Lippmann layered her opaque white Amazing Grace with criss-crossing stripes of colorful polishes to create the patterns. Use her neon pink I Kissed A Girl for the look, above. And maybe tap a friend (or some Scotch tape) to help paint your dominant hand.

Fetherston's collection was inspired by a photo of '60s icon Brigitte Bardot, in which she paired a feminine outfit with "tough makeup." So, Butter London painted her models' nails with the metallic Lillibet's Jubilee. Paint it on your own and pair it with the girliest get-up you've got.

Yuna Yang PritiPriti NYC at Yuna Yang

Yang’s designs were modern, fresh, and young—with billowy fabrics and lots of lace—and Priti NYC chose muted red and blue polishes to complement them. It may be a spring show, but we love Red Head Cactus for fall, and Schwarkopf is perfect for the late fall transition to winter.
