Event recap: “Runway to Everyday” with W3LL PEOPLE

On Wednesday night, Well+Good hosted “Runway to Everyday,” a natural makeup event with W3LL PEOPLE at Henri Bendel on Fifth Avenue. Thirty readers gathered to meet W3ll People co-founder Shirley Pinkson, the makeup brand's color creator, whose career in makeup included nearly a decade at NARS.
Pinkson doled out tips galore on how to use natural makeup to glamorous effect, answered readers questions (like "How long should you keep organic makeup?" Answer: 1 year), and facilitated everyone's tailor-made makeover with her beauty swat team of six amazing makeup artists.
Everyone left a little more informed—and a bit more beautiful with their new looks and fall W3LL PEOPLE makeup purchases.
Couldn't join us? The first 40 Well+Good readers who visit the W3LL PEOPLE counter at Henri Bendel on Friday, October 12 through Saturday, October 13, get a complimentary W3LL PEOPLE Deluxe Universalist Pot, in a stunning limited edition color.
Check out the party photos, and we hope to see you at the next event...

Good things come in small packages! All attendees received a mini makeup bag containing a full-size Universalist Gold Illuminizer Multi-Use Stick that can be used as an eye shadow or as a luminizing highlighter to accent cheekbones, brows, and cupid’s bow.
Well+Good social media coordinator Rosa Levitan (right), pictured with founder Melisse Gelula, captured lots of great beauty tips and tweeted them throughout the evening for readers unable to attend. One of the best tips: If you don't know what the first 5 ingredients in your makeup are, don't buy it! #RunwaytoEveryday
