More than 30 boutique fitness and training studios around New York City participated in the first ever Sweaty Saturday on October 13, an all-day event we're calling Fashion Night's Out for the fitness scene.The city transformed into a playground of workout parties, and fitness-lovers (and Well+Good readers) were out in full force for the special classes that also donated funds to Heath Corps.
And we were there, too, starting with early morning asanas at SLT Yoga in Midtown to a noon class at Peak Performance in the Flatiron to an evening workout at Barry's Bootcamp in Tribeca.

Uplift Studio, known for their signature "Workout and Wine" hosted a slew of strength-training classes (all offered at half-price) with BluePrint Juice and mimosas—and some serious thigh work.

Kudos to everyone who sweated for a great cause, and huge kudos to the blogger who ran 20 miles and still got another workout in… I ran almost 21 on Saturday and was completely sore, so good for her!!!
