Juice Press expands into Tribeca

The new Tribeca Juice Press

The raw (unpasteurized) Tribeca space, christened with the name of one of Juice Press’ most popular blends.

Juice Press is set to open a north Tribeca location at 415 Greenwich Street this November.

The 1,300-square-foot space will stock signature bottled juices, smoothies, and prepared food. And it’ll be in healthy company—its neighbor will be Flywheel Sports—making the block between Hubert and Laight Streets Tribeca’s newest hub of healthy living.

It was just three years ago that the first tiny Juice Press opened in the East Village. Since then, the indie juice brand has emerged as a fast-growing powerhouse: the Tribeca location will be the company’s fifteenth.

Like at the other 14 locations, “the in-store experience is very important to us,” says Juice Press COO Shom Chowdhury of the labor-intensive, made-to-order smoothies and super-fresh bottled juices. (HPP is a bad word in the halls of Juice Press.)

The Tribeca location will likely also include some juice production, since Juice Press is known for using every nook and cranny of each store for production, and not off-site commissaries.

And with Flywheel studio next door, we expect the hemp protein smoothies to be in high demand. —Carla Vass
