HEMP
Pro: Hemp milk, from seeds of the Cannabis plant, contains omega 3 and 6, good fats that our bodies need and can’t make.
Con: Hemp is not a great source of protein (2 grams), and comes with very few vitamins (unless it's fortified with them, which it often is), says nutritionist Christy Maskeroni, MS, RD, at CLAY Health Club + Spa.
Flavor and uses: Hemp milk is creamy, with an earthy flavor. Maskeroni suggests using it with smoothies and cereal.
