Acupuncture and Massage
Pacific College of Oriental Medicine
The country’s largest acupuncture school is housed in the Flatiron district, and about-to-graduate therapists practice their acupuncture and massage (Shiatsu, Tui Na, Swedish, etc.) skills on New Yorkers on a budget.
The facility feels more like a hospital than a spa, and your therapist will most likely skip any pampering.
But, we’ve only experienced stellar results, leaving our bodies (and wallets) relaxed and limber. Acupuncture costs between $45 and $63 dollars; a 60-minute massage is $53 (with discounts for students and seniors).
