“This vegan burger ($11) is made with honest ingredients—mostly French lentils and barley, and has a great texture. It also has a rich flavor—so it might be cooked in the deep fryer. (Hey, that’s okay!)

It’s served with a big squirt of harissa, which manages to bring all the flavors into focus rather than overtake them, plus a handful of arugula and the requisite tomato and onion. For a place that serves few vegetarian items, it’s an exciting find.”
